Rumsha joined What The Law as an articling student and was eager to remain with the team since her call to the Bar in 2021. Before completing her J.D. at Osgoode Hall Law School, Rumsha completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology at York University. Her interest in psychology motivated her to work with youth and adolescents with special needs in a residential treatment setting. The experience grounded Rumsha's conviction in advocating on behalf of marginalized communities. While at Osgoode, Rumsha worked at a community legal clinic, contributing to equity initiatives while practicing poverty law. At What The Law, Rumsha handles all of her cases with passion and might, focusing a large part of her criminal defence practice on youth criminal justice.
