Top Three Best Rated Criminal Lawyers in Richmond Hill

My firm was awarded a “Best Business of 2021” by ThreeBestRated.Ca this morning. I am now listed as one of the Top Three Best Rated Criminal Lawyers in Richmond Hill, Ontario. I’ve always admired ThreeBestRated.Ca so I felt nothing short but honored when I received this email this morning. Their website mentions that “all of our criminal defense lawyers actually face a rigorous 50-Point Inspection, which includes everything from checking reviews, ratings, reputation, history, complaints, satisfaction, trust and cost to the general excellence”.

The website creates their own summary for each lawyer and advises that we have the option of editing it if we wish. I actually really like the summary they have for me and I’m glad that is what impression I give across to the public. 

First, the website mentions our Transparency. We are all about complete transparency here at What The Law. From the moment you walk through the door, we are absolutely transparent in regards to explaining the legal process to you, explaining what we will do for you, and even transparent when it comes to our legal fees. We understand that the criminal justice system can seem overly complicated and confusing – especially if you are going through it for the first time – and we are here to take over and make this process as smooth as possible. We invite your questions. We have a team of experienced lawyers, paralegals and legal assistants who are always available to you. At the end of day, we understand we work for you and that is something we do not take lightly. We will work tirelessly to ensure our client’s get the justice they deserve. 

Second: the website’s summary of my firm mentions our costs of Flat Rate Fees and no hidden costs. Along with transparency, we are a firm believer in access to justice and how everyone deserves right to representation. We have flat rate fees and if that means going to court for you 10 times or 50 times – it doesn’t matter. When we say this is your fee, this is your fee. Period. 

Third: the website mentions our approachability and I’m glad that impression of myself and my law firm comes across. We are approachable. I treat my clients like family. Along with the words of “confidence” being one of the most-used words in my Google Reviews, so is the word “brother” and “heart”. Several of my past-clients will not only indicate that I “treat them like a brother” but that I put my heart into my work and everything I do. Check out my google reviews to see for yourself. Part of my appeal, as I have been well told, is the sustained relationships I keep with my clients. While I am known for the diligent, persistent and zealous work I put towards my clients' files, I do not shy from making them feel comfortable at an interpersonal level - especially through lighthearted banter. Although you will see me break the shackles of the formal solicitor-client relationship, don't get it twisted - in court, I am a shark.
