Saad completed his Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Socio-Legal Studies from the University of Toronto, where he graduated with High Distinction. He then enrolled in the ‘Programme National’ at the University of Ottawa, obtaining dual law degrees: Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and Legum Licentiatus (LL.L.). He completed his LL.L. in French and provides legal services to clients in both of Canada’s official languages.
Saad articled with a well-known criminal defence lawyer in Toronto and was called to the Bar in 2022 after successfully completing the Ontario Barrister and Solicitor exams in French. He has more than two years of experience in criminal defence and has represented individuals charged with a variety of criminal offences, including drinking and driving, assault, sexual assault, drug trafficking, and firearms-related offences. He has acted as defence counsel in criminal proceedings before the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice. He has also appeared in criminal matters at the Ontario Court of Appeal.
